Interesting facts about Jake Peavy

I just watched Jake Peavy on 1st and 10. Here's what I learned.

  • Peavy's house hunting in San Diego. The one thing he "needs" is a recording studio.
  • His favorite jam session was when he got to play on stage with Kenny Chesney in San Diego recently.
  • His dream jam session would be with Jewel.
  • He's secretly in love with Jewel.

  • He would like to jam with Bronson Arroyo

  • He likes hunting white tail deer
  • His wife also hunts and they're going to have a show on TV on July 23. Not sure what channel.
  • Maddux will throw clubs when he starts losing at golf
  • Peavy admits to playing golf every day during spring training, increasing my suspicion that nothing really happens during spring training
  • Peavy likes the Dukes of Hazard television show better than the movie, though he enjoyed the movie.

I totally hear

the Jewel crush. I used to be crazy in love with her.

How the heck did I miss that??

Please tell us when you know about the show!

You also told me he is an Adrenaline junky

and goes hunting with Boomer, Oswalt and bunch of other MLB types.

too bad he was out of town last friday

Jewel performed with Brad Paisley
She sounds flawless
and yoddled

By flawless

do you mean super breathy in a little mouse voice? Jewel yodeling is so mid 90’s. I heard she lived in her car and is from Alaska, no it’s true.

no

she has a pretty powerful voice actually… only some of her songs are raspy but she can hit some notes and with a lot of power. and the yodeling was way cool since it is so random. yea i know she lived in her car and is from alaska. She actually lived and was discovered in San Diego while living in her van. And was inspired to write “save your soul” people watching at horton plaza… now that song makes sense

Jake Peavy's paid

for a funeral reception over this past weekend.

The brother of one of my good friends passed away a week ago and the funeral reception was held at his Poway home this past weekend. His daughter is good friends with Mrs. Peavy (Katie?) who showed up for a brief few minutes and left after signing a check for the caterers. Awesome.
