Well the Chicago teams are out, the Brewers are bummed and Angels couldn't get it done.
That leaves us with Rays vs. Red Sox and Dodgers vs. Phillies.
I think it will be a Red Sox / Dodgers World Series. Believe me I don't want either of those teams anywhere close to the World Series but I just have a feeling that it's going to end up that way.

Rays over Phillies in Six
Sam (sdsuaztec4) - October 7, 2008
Same here...but I'll say seven games.
Drama - October 8, 2008
The only thing I wish for right now
is that Paplebon blows every game…ideally after he has a “big” strikeout that forces him to celebrate on the mound.
I hate Paplebon.
thenerdhater - October 8, 2008
That's two of us.
Dude almost ruined Dropkick for me. Almost.
TheThirdGonzalez - October 8, 2008
he fits right in
with the Boston Fans. Overly smug and just a douche bag.
Sammy G - October 8, 2008
Thank you
For pointing this out. Boston is perfect for this douche.
sacpadre - October 8, 2008
I think everyone is voting with the same
wishful thinking I am. Go Rays!
Demoira - October 8, 2008
I can't vote for the Rays
Dex brought this up a while back – but I don’t want another team to win their first WS before the Padres.

Brad Penny
Another one of KT’s bargin bin injury rebound pitchers?
Sam (sdsuaztec4) - October 8, 2008
You just gave Drama PFOB
Winfield's Ghost - October 8, 2008
Sorry...
I would have responded earlier but I passed out.
Brad in San Diego!!!! OH MY GAWD!!!
Is the username iLOVEbrad31 taken yet?
Drama - October 8, 2008
If you think the Padres are going to give the number 31 to Penny...
…then I don’t even know what to say to you.
Winfield's Ghost - October 8, 2008
LoL Wow
31 Drama? Seriously?
Sam (sdsuaztec4) - October 8, 2008
I'm calling an emergency meeting of The Club
to discuss Drama’s membership.
Winfield's Ghost - October 8, 2008
Same Place as usual?
Sam (sdsuaztec4) - October 8, 2008
Yep
Wear your satin jacket.
Winfield's Ghost - October 8, 2008
What would Winfield care?
As long as you don’t take his Yankee cap from him.
Drama - October 8, 2008
You're out
Winfield's Ghost - October 8, 2008
ouch
justdave - October 8, 2008
I went with the Red Sox
just cause. But I kinda have a feeling that the Dodgers might win it… just cause the world is cruel like that.
freelunch - October 8, 2008
is Maddux in their playoff rotation?
'Eaters - October 8, 2008
Billingsley, Lowe, and Kuroda are their top 3
So maybe unless the first three guys pitch on short rest after some days off.
Sam (sdsuaztec4) - October 8, 2008
He better be
Nothing would be more gratifying to watch than Maddux going vintage and carving up the Phillies lineup. Or better, have Maddux vs. Moyer to have one of those stat-splooging “OLDEST ever pitching matchup in the NLCS game 3 on a Wednesday after an 2-0 series lead” stat.
royhobbs - October 8, 2008
It made me physically ill
seeing them use him out of the ’pen against Chitcago.
TheThirdGonzalez - October 8, 2008
they are an excellent group of ass-hats
justdave - October 8, 2008
Most likely, no
It should be Clayton Kershaw gettting the nod for Game 4. It’s too risky exposing Mad Dawg to all those lefties in the Phillies lineup. I hope he gets a moment in the spotlight during these next two series. Maddux deserves nothing less….
DodgerBlueBalls - October 9, 2008
DBB!!!
Drama - October 9, 2008
Feelin' you, Drama!!!
I know it’s too much to ask for any of you to root for my Dodgers. But consider this: Jayson Werth’s Dad is rooting for the other team!
DodgerBlueBalls - October 9, 2008
Dammit
Don’t try to confuse me…
Winfield's Ghost - October 9, 2008
That's the best argument
for your cause that I’ve heard.
