Still a shut out. This is up really late. Dex and Jon are at the game right now.
If we are ever really late or miss an open thread, feel free to make a open thread in the diary section and we'll move it over to the main page when we see it.

0-0 after 8...this is killing me.Drama - September 6, 2006
That was awesome
Trevor gives up two hits with no outs. Strikes out one. Intentionally loads the bases. Then strikes out the next two hitters.jbox - September 6, 2006

Freakin Rocky
Dude has the audacity to do yet another Rocky movie (Rocky XII?). From the previews I've been forced to watch, it looks like he's actually going to be "boxing" in his new flick. Isn't he like 80 now? That scene where he's running through Philly? Now he'll be using his tricked out scooter and the adoring children who chased after him in his younger days will now wait for the opportunity to knock him down and steal his wallet.Sad for Rocky, and the Rockies, incidentally.
Woo-hoo for Paulie Mac and the Padres!

You're not psyched for this?
It's Rocky. How could you not be psyched for this. Aren't you from Generation X? I thought we were supposed to be into this kind of stuff.Dex - September 7, 2006
